Field Trip Signup:
Look out for an email with Signup Genius details coming your way this Thursday, January 25th. We're thrilled to announce our upcoming field trip to the Witte Museum, scheduled for Thursday, February 29th. Please take this opportunity to sign up and join us for a day of exploration and fun.
Volunteer Reminder:
If you've already volunteered at another event this year, we kindly ask you to give others a 24-hour chance to sign up before securing your spot. Your support is invaluable, and we appreciate your consideration.
Math Focus:
This week's math focus is on multiplication and division. Students will tackle multiplication and division word problems, enhancing their problem-solving skills. We'll also explore the concept of two-digit times one-digit multiplication.
Unit Four Math Test on Friday:
A friendly reminder that the Unit Four Test is scheduled for this Friday, January 26th. The test will cover multiplication, division, and specific skills related to 6s, 7s, 8s, and 9s. Encourage your child to review and practice these concepts for a successful assessment.
Science Unit:
We're excited to kick off our science unit on weather patterns and the water cycle this week. Prepare for engaging activities that will deepen your child's understanding of these natural phenomena.
Literature Journey:
Our literary adventure continues with the start of Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories. Don't forget to pick up the next Classic to Keep, The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, before Monday, January 29th.
